| just wanted to let everyone know that i'm still alive. i know i have
posts that are way past due but i'm really busy right now. tomorrow is
my birthday.. wait.. actually.. right now is my birthday o.o and this
weekend is alcan, the big dragonboat festival. i PROMISE to post after
that.

| So... I got pimped today.......
.... or at least he tried real hard...
I come out of an interview with this youth organisation that brings
about wareness of HIV/AIDS and Hep C to youth. I walk down the street
and a man pulls up in his Benz and calls me over. I thought he needed
directions. Instead, he asks me if i go to UBC because he's a doctor a
VGH (Vancouver General Hospital). Great and all, we introduce
ourselves. He asks me if i like Italian or Greek food and he says he
wants to take me out to coffee. I tell him I'm busy. He says, perhaps
another time. He tries to give me his card, but instead, pulls out 2
wads of 100 dollar bills from his pockets. Then he asks me if I like
shopping or traveling. Next he points out I'm dressed really well, and
asks me iwhere I work. I tell him I don't have a job and he says he can
get me a job in a doctor's office if I want. I tell him no thank you,
he hands me his "card" which turns out to be his name on the back
someone else's business card.
This dude was totally slime ball material. gold chain, dress shirt
unbuttoned with check hair hanging out. All he needed was a grease-ball
tatoo on his forehead and he would be totally pimp material.
So, the moral of the story kids, its never safe, not even at 11:30am, in broad daylight on a Tuesday afternoon.

| Today I'm headed back to England. Gonna chill there for 4 days before I go home. And then it'll be time for a big update with pictures and all. Greece has been AMAZING! the people are so nice and the food.. mmmmmmmmmmmmm
We did a lot of shopping. more like Jenn did a lot of shopping. At the beginning of our trip, her bag was lighter than mine, significantly. Now, however, when you feel her bag, its really hard to imagine that my bag was the heavier one. That's what happens when shopaholickism isn't controlled.
Anyhow, we are going to stone henge soon, that should be fun.

| So yea, i went to visit the place where they shot the Sound of Music. It's absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy. And now we are in Vienna. I can't wait to go site-seeing tomorrow. vvv
we were also in Berlin. We got to see the Berlin Wall. I even brought a piece of it home with me (the legal way of course). Learned a little bit about communist East Germany, scary stuff...
Anyhow, i'll update again later to let ya'll know i'm alive.
